Alton Bennett Thomas, 75, of Elizabethtown, died Dec. 11, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, the Rev. Jay Winston officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Trinity Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Owen Thomas of the home; two daughters, Marla Dee Thomas of the home and Djuana Thomas Register of Elizabethtown; two brothers, John Thomas and Harold Thomas, both of White Lake; his sisters, Willia Dean Butler of Elizabethtown; and two grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.
