Sandra Velazquez

Lumberton – Sandra Marie Velazquez, 58, of 735 Rozier Church Road, died Jan. 2, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

A memorial will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Revels Funeral Home Chapel Lumberton, William Averette and Robert Stigers officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynor family cemetery.

Velazquez was born on Sept. 16, 1954, in Syracuse, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola M. Wynn Haskins; her father, Richard G. Haskins; and a brother, Merrill L. Haskins.

She is survived by her children, Roy Gabriel Velazquez and wife Monica L. Velazquez, Jolleen Melody Velazquez and husband Charles S. Redmon, Roy Joseph Velazquez and wife Tanya Velazquez, Roy David Velazquez and Kyle C. Jones; a sister, Debra Haskins Amiar and husband Adlene Amiar; two brothers, Micheal Haskins and wife Mona L. Haskins and Richard K. Haskins; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home Lumberton.
