Arthur Smith
FAIRMONT —Arthur Wade Smith, 76, of 702 Morro St., died Jan. 7, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Baltimore Baptist Church, the Rev. Tim Tyner officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Byrne Smith and Annie Hardin Smith; two brothers, Howard and Sam Smith; four sisters, Pearl Smith, Kathleen Lee, Evon Simmons and Annie Ruth Perkins.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Smith of the home; a daughter, Susan McLellan and husband Tony of Fairmont; two sons, Kevin Smith and wife Mary of Rowland and Keith Smith of Orrum; a sister, Glenda Smith and husband Jerry of Wilmington; and six grandchildren, Tray, Brandi, Kiley, Layne, Marley and Neal.
The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
