LUMBERTON — The Col. Thomas Robeson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held its January meeting at Pinecrest Country Club.
Julia McDuffie presented a program on the White House, which included a video with pictures and history of the various rooms and furnishings. Her talk highlighted the burning of the White House during the War of 1812 and renovations during various administrations.
