Jessie Hunt
LUMBERTON – Jessie Lee Hunt, 70, of Lumberton, died Jan. 21, 2013, at Highland Acres.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Lumbee Memorial Gardens, the Rev. Jack Murray officiating.
Hunt was born Feb. 13, 1942, in Robeson County. She was the daughter of the late Bracey and Lee Easter Oxendine Canady.
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Ray Tyler; two brothers, Earl and Ray Canady; and a sister, Dessie Chavis.
She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Oxendine of High Point; two sons, Rickie Tyler and Gregory Earl Tyler, both of Lumberton; two brothers, Jearl and Hearld Canady of High Point; a sister, Margaret Canady of Lumberton; and five grandchildren, Amber Tyler, Zackary Tyler, Matthew Oxendine, Brandon Tyler and Joshua Tyler.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home in Lumberton.
