Shirley Locklear

FAIRMONT — Shirley “Gal” Locklear, 64, of Fairmont, passed away Jan. 23, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Dogwood Baptist Church, the Revs. Roger Strickland and Bobby Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born Feb. 21, 1954, in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Winford and Beulah Brooks Locklear; and two brothers, Billy and Jerry Locklear.

She is survived by two sisters, Mary Oxendine of Fairmont and Catherine Hammonds of Pembroke; four brothers, Winford Locklear Jr. of Fairmont, Charles Locklear of Lumberton, and Robert and James Lee Locklear, both of the home; and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
