BLADENBORO — Gurney Dowless, 85, of Bladenboro, died Jan. 24, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Center Road Baptist Church. The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.

LAURINBURG — Brain Oxendine, 50, of 314 Adam St., died Jan. 23, 2012. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Cherokee Chapel Cemetery in Red Springs. The visitation will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke.
