Noel Bullock Jr.

LUMBERTON — Noel Hartwell (N.H.) Bullock Jr., 84, of Lumberton, died, Jan. 25, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, Dr. David Elks and the Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.

He was born in Robeson County on Sept. 13, 1928, to the late Noel Hartwell Bullock Sr. and the late Maggie Lowe Bullock.

He previously worked for several furniture companies throughout the area. He also enjoyed working at Fairmont Golf Course, formerly Flag Tree.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Rhodes Bullock; his brothers, Wilton Angus Bullock, Ralph Bullock, Sam Bullock, David Bullock, James Bullock; a sister, Lena Bullock Stone; and nephews, Max and R.W. Bullock.

Bullock is survived by his daughters, Joyce Bullock Lepore and husband Robert of Ambler, Pa. and Janet Bullock Bennett and husband Ronald of Lumberton; a brother, Russell Bullock of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Kelly Edwards, Heather Haney, Mary Bennett, Sally Bennett; his great-grandchildren, Haley Rogers, and Ethan, Cameron and Hannah Edwards; and many loved nieces and nephews.

The visitation will follow the services at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St. in Lumberton.
