One hundred and 11 employees and 21 retirees were honored recently at Southeastern Health’s annual service awards banquet.

Southeastern Health’s administrators and Human Resources Director Joseph Glezen presented service pins during the after-dinner ceremony held in the hospital’s dining room. Those in attendance made dinner selections from a variety of delicious entrees prepared by Southeastern’s Food and Nutrition Services staff. The guest speaker was Alphonzo McRae, who serves as vice president for institutional services at Robeson Community College as well as on Southeastern Health’s board of trustees.

Employees celebrating a five-year anniversary milestone of 15 or more years were honored at the ceremony by receiving service pins. Former employees who retired during 2012 were also recognized. More than 2,200 employees work on Southeastern’s main campus and affiliated agencies.

First of all these names was very deserving to be printed in the Robesonian, they are well deserving, shame on the Robesonian they cant print the honor roll names for the Public Schools of Robeson County, they tell you go to the website, bull not there either, lot of people dot have access to a computer but they pay for the newspaper, thats a down right shame as hard as students work and cant see there name in the paper

Bosomhandkerchief,

There are 43 schools in robeson county, and there is no way we could put all the honor rolls in the newspaper. We don't have the space. The story you are commenting on is not going in the print edition. If you are aware of an honor roll we said was online at robesonian.com, that you could not find, please make me aware of it so we can correct the mistake.
