Ophelia Sweat
LUMBERTON — Ophelia Jacobs Sweat, 85, of Wesley Pines Drive, died Feb. 12, 2013.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Revels Funeral Home Chapel Lumberton, the Rev. Crafton Chavis and Horace Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church Cemetery.
Sweat was born in Robeson County on May 29, 1927, a daughter of the late Kelly and Katie Hammonds Jacobs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.F. Sweat; a son, James Kelly Sweat; two sisters, Letha Mae Lowry and Cathleen Hunt; and two brothers, Delton Jacobs and Welton Jacobs.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Shelia Deneen Sweat and Sherry Doan Sweat; several nieces and nephews; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at Revels Funeral Home Lumberton.
