LUMBERTON — Donald Hickman, 38, of Mallard Circle, reported more than $24,000 worth of items were stolen from his home before 3 a.m. Monday, according to a police report.

Reported stolen were 17 suits valued at $6,400, a Bose sound system valued at $800, a Direct TV box valued at $300, a Sony flat screen television valued at $1,600, a computer valued at $1,500, two chairs valued at $150, six custom paintings valued at $2,000, two lamps valued at $75, three glass tables valued at $900, assorted crystal and china valued at $9,000, a laptop valued at $800 and jewelry valued at $1,000.

The following residents have reported recent break-ins to the Sheriff’s Office. The reports no longer include what was taken.

— Paulette Locklear Davis, of Flowers Farm Road, Red Springs.

— Deleva Byrd, of Sweetheart Drive, Fairmont.

— Megan Edwards, of Bee Gee Road, Lumberton.

— Jesus Cruz, of N.C. 72 West, Lumberton.

— Crystal Kay Grice, of Wrenn Road, St. Pauls.

— Kenneth Powers, of Quail Run Road, Lumberton.

— Librado Calles, of Old Allenton Road, Lumberton.

— Allison Nicole Jacobs, of Pearsall Road, Red Springs.

— Julius Thurman Singletary, of Kitchen Street Road, Rowland

PEMBROKE — Timmy Locklear, 43, of 89 Mozart Drive, was arrested Friday night and charged with breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering, according to a sheriff’s report.

He was jailed under a secured bond of $4,000.

SHANNON — Johnathon Ray Oxendine, 21, of 202 Navaho Drive, was arrested Sunday night in Pembroke and charged with larceny of firearms, according to a police report.

He was jailed under a secures bond of $1,000.

LUMBERTON — Alton Locklear Jr., an employee of Lumber River Trading Co. of Roberts Avenue, reported copper wire was stolen before 4 p.m. Friday, according to a police report.

The copper wire was valued at $5,000.

LUMBERTON — Jane Floyd, 59, of Center Street, reported $760 worth of appliances were stolen from her home Saturday night, according to a police report.

A dryer valued at $160 and a washing machine valued at $600 were stolen.
