MONDAY

Shag lessons: The Lumberton Recreation Department will hold shag lessons starting Monday in the south end of the Pine Street Activity Center on the corner of 8th and Pine streets. Beginner classes start at 7 p.m. and intermediate classes start at 8 p.m.

A partner is not required. The cost is $30 per person, per month.
