John Hall, 48, of Bladenboro, formerly of Smithfield, Va., entered into eternal rest on Nov. 7, 2012.
The funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Galeed Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in Bladenboro.
He was currently the Bladen County deputy fire marshal, deputy fire chief of Clarkton Fire Department, a member of the Bladenboro Fire Department and auxiliary for the Elizabethtown Fire Department, worked with Bladen County Emergency Services, and was contact person for American Red Cross Disaster Relief in Bladen County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Teddy S. Hall; his grandparents, Mose M. and Juanita Mae Hall and John and Ollie Hall; and a special grandmother, Ruby Russ.
He is survived by his mother, Kay C. Hagerman of Holden Beach; a son, Michael Hall and wife Ashlie of Bladenboro; a stepson, Brandon Rhodes of Virginia; two stepsisters, Sally Mallard and husband David of Georgia, and Karen Clardy and husband Floyd of Texas; two special sisters, Dawn Edwards and Debbie Hickim, both of Virginia; and a godmother, Rebeccah C. Biron of Virginia.
The visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday at Galeed Baptist Church.

Ora Shaw, 94, of Laurel Hill, died Nov. 6, 2012, at Sandhills Regional Hospital.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Beautiful Zion FWB Church, the Rev. Glenn Bright officating. Burial will follow in Beautiful Zion Church Cemetery.
She is survived by five sons, Tommy Shaw, James Shaw, Larnell Shaw, Willie Saw and Hilton Shaw, all of Laurel Hill; two daughters, Jessie Mae Shaw and Odessa Shaw, both of Laurel Hill; three sisters, Dartha Lee Graham of Gibson, Jannie Mae Campbell of Laurel Hill, and K.C. Nichols of Red Springs.
The visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at McPhatter Funeral Home
