LUMBERTON — The Irish-American band, Cherish the Ladies, will present “A Celtic Christmas” at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke’s Givens Performing Arts Center on Nov. 29 at 8 p.m.

The ensemble will perform carols such a “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “Silent Night.”

LUMBERTON — Robeson Community College Foundation will hold a Christmas Talent Show featuring the Robeson Community College Ensemble Choir on Dec. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the college at 5160 Fayetteville Road.

There will also be performances by the Robeson County Christmas Show performers and American Idol finalist Victoria Huggins, among others.

Tickets are $3 for children 10 and under and seniors older than 65, $5 for adults and free for RCC students with an ID. For information, call Rebekah Lowry at 910-272-3235.

LUMBERTON — Tickets for the second annual Dancing with the Robeson County Stars, which cost $30, are available for purchase at the United Way office at 202 N. Chestnut St., or by phone with a credit card by calling 910-739-4249.

The event will be held on March 22 at 6:30 p.m. and will raise money for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which provides a free book monthly to children 5 and under.
