Break-ins

LUMBERTON — Shelia Jenkins, of Meadow View Road, reported on Thursday that someone broke into her home and stole an $800 television, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Kathy Jones, of Lackey Street, reported on Wednesday that someone broke into her room at Motel 6 at 2361 Lackey St., and stole a $300 tablet computer, according to a police report.

Thefts

LUMBERTON — Patricia Fox, of Belk Department Store at 2750 N. Elm St., reported on Friday that a customer stole clothing valued at $525 from the business, according to a police report.

Vandalism

LUMBERTON — Brandi Hall, of Willow Street, reported on Thursday that someone cut three tires on a 2002 Dodge Neon belonging to Kathy Burney, of Toversville Road, St. Pauls, while it was parked at Motel 6 at 2361 Lackey St., and hit it with a shovel, causing $950 damage to two windows, the hood, fender and tires, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Patricia Slaughter, of East 10th Street, reported on Wednesday that an acquaintance scratched and dented her 2000 Mercury Sable while it was parked at her home, causing $1,500 damage to the front and rear bumper, the door, a window and hood, according to a police report.
