Elsie Rouse Smith, 86, of Raynham Road, died Nov. 24, 2012, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. today in the Fairmont Cemetery, the Rev. Tim Tyner officiating.

She is survived by her son, George H. Smith Jr. of Fairmont; a daughter, Susan S. Tyson of Fairmont; a brother, Willie Rouse of Hope Mills; four sisters, Ida Scott of Fairmont, Elois Surles of Lumberton, Bessie Walters of Orrum and Eva Williamson of Raleigh; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be 12:30 till 2 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services.

Laurel Hill

Doug Leviner, 71, of 10140 Rockingham Road, died Nov. 23, 2012, at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Springfield Church of God, the Revs. David Shoemake, Michael Stephens and Dan Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Leviner, four daughters, Joyce Odom, Mary Hegwer, Tina Frier and Jamie Locklear; three sisters, Vera Ruiz, Maxine Leviner and Elizabeth Warr; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Springfeild Church of God.
