Tony Ray Lane, 58, formerly of Fairmont, died Dec. 12, 2012, in Sumter, S.C.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Fairmont, the Revs. Billy Burns and Walt Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Iona Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Lane was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Donnie Mae and Earl Snipes; his father, George Lane; two sisters, Barbara West and Patsy Antone; and two brothers, Ronald and Terry Lane.

Lane is survived by his wife, Peggy Hunt Lane of the home; two sons, Clinton Lane and wife Ashley Nicole of Sumter, S.C. and Joshua Lane of the home; his other special children, Richard and Amy Mohr of Florence, S.C.; three grandchildren, Charley, Nicholas and Nolan Mohr, both of Florence; a brother, George A. Lane and wife Jan of Blufton, S.C.; a sister, Janice Leggett of Fairmont; and his mother-in-law, Ruby Hunt of Fairmont.

The visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, and at other times at 200 Cottage St., in Fairmont, N.C.
