William “Joker” Rabon, 80, of Fairmont, passed away Dec. 19, 2012, at his residence.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, the Revs. James Sanders, Glen Morgan and Bruce Rabon officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
He was born in Dillon County, S.C., on July 10, 1932, to the late Buddy Rabon and the late Jane Scott Rabon.
Rabon is survived by his loving wife, Alma Rabon of the home; two sons, Bruce Rabon of Lexington, Ky., and Donald Rabon of Fairmont; three daughters, Wanda Jacobs of Lumberton, Derenda O’Neal of High Point, and Tabitha Butler of Bladenboro; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday before the service at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St., Lumberton.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to: Native Angels Hospice, 201 East Livermore Drive, Pembroke, N.C., 28372.
