Joyce Isabell Prevatte, 83, of Lumberton, passed away Dec. 22, 2012, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Prevatte Cemetery on Carthage Road, the Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.

She was born in Robeson County on Dec. 4, 1929.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Walter Prevatte and Annie Foy Prevatte; her daughter, Durema Andrews; two sisters; and a brother.

She is survived by her brother, James B. Prevatte of Lumberton.

A time of visitation will follow the service at the gravesite.

Olive “Donnie” Arrington, 88, of 1806 Eccho Road, died Dec. 24, 2012, at McLeod Hospital in Dillon, S.C.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Rowland. Burial will follow in Rowland Cemetery.

Arrington was a member of Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Services for 13 years, A farm Supervisor and a navel serviceman where he served in World War II, and receive the Victory Medal for service.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Fay Arrington; and a son, Donald Bryan Arrington of Rowland.

The visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday before the service at Boles Funeral Home in Rowland.

Francis Mae Godwin, 69, of 225 Udell Road, died Dec. 24, 2012, at Southeastern Hospice House.
