Margaret Ayres Rogers, 66, of Fairmont, passed away Dec. 21, 2012, after a brief illness.
A memorial will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the family farm, N.C. 41 in Fairmont.
She was born March 13, 1946, in Lumberton.
A strong, loving and caring person, she was known for her kindness and generosity to animals, which led her to work for the Northend Veterinary Clinic in Lumberton.
Margaret is survived by her brother, Edwin D. Rogers II (Patricia) of Moncks Corner, S.C.; three nieces; and two nephews.
