FAIRMONT — A 20-year-old Fairmont man was arrested and charged on Wednesday night with robbing a man at gunpoint earlier that day, according to Fairmont police Maj. David Windom.

Shilec Rothwell, of the 3000 block of Dallas Road, was charged with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon for robbing 39-year-old Terrance Moore, according to Windom.

Windom said that Moore, a resident of Coward Street, was walking along Canal Street at about 5:18 p.m. when Rockwell approached him, pointed a handgun at Moore, demanded money and stole about $600.

Rockwell then ran, but was apprehended by Fairmont police a few blocks away, Windom said.

Rockwell was taken to the Robeson County jail and held on $15,000 bond.

I have been hearing things about this "kid". He always seem to rob and break into peoples houses. I know he has been doing this for quiet awhile now and it seems like Jail or prison will not stop him. He should REALLY get sometime for all the things he continue to do and gets bond out by an "ignorant" person everytime. The system is all messed up. You can even look at him and tells he's sneaky. I bet if he broke in on someone and the person "Shoots" i bet the person who "shot" will be charged even more even if it was self-defense smh only in robeson reckless county !!!

This is one way to keep low information voters from voting for democrats. Locked up. The reason democrats want to let criminals off easy is so they can vote for them, pathetic. Then we have to put up with the crime eliment in society so democrats can have a constituency.
