Lynwood Locklear
LUMBERTON — Lynwood (Bud) Locklear, 72, of 96 Mount Moriah Church Road, died Jan. 8, 2013, at his residence.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hyde Park Baptist Church, the Revs. Dr. Mike Cummings, Paul Brooks and Wayne Marshburn officiating. Interment with military honors performed by the Robeson County Honor Guard will follow at the Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
Locklear was preceded in death by his father, Brison L. Locklear; his mother, Marion H. Locklear, two brothers, Billy Dean Locklear, Kenneth (Richard) Locklear; and three sisters, Chestine L. Hunt, Nancy Carol Butler and Audrey Faye Locklear.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Locklear; two sons, Darylwood Locklear, Wallace Locklear and wife Gloria, all of Lumberton; three daughters, Sheryl Hunt and husband Gary of Lumberton, Aja Locklear of Charlotte, and Shauna Locklear of Orlando; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a fleet of close friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Revels Funeral Home in Lumberton.
