LUMBERTON — An 18-year-old was shot and killed Thursday night, and another teenager was injured in the shooting.
Lamont Lyles was killed at the intersection of Alamac and Rice roads at about 9:30 p.m., according to sheriff’s Capt. Anthony Thompson, and 19-year-old Dashawn Taylor was struck by gunfire. Their addresses were not available.
Thompson said there were several people involved in the shooting, but he could not release more details this morning.
