Doris Winby
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Doris Earline Beck Winby, 83, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., passed away Jan. 18, 2013, in St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Richmond County Memorial Park, Pastor Randy Bishop of First Baptist Church of Hamlet officiating.
She was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Hamlet to the late William Arlie Beck and Nannie Harper Beck.
After John and Doris were married, they resided in New York.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, John G. Winby; her stepmother, Aline Beck Fincher; her stepfather, Leo M. Fincher; and a sister, Mildred Beck O’tuel.
Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Jacqueline “Jackie” Inman; and several nieces and nephews.
