Ivey Locklear
LUMBERTON — Ivey (Man) Locklear, 55, of 480 Lumbee Ave., departed his life on Jan. 21, 2013.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, the Revs. Lacy Sanderson and Henry Oxendine officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacobs family cemetery
Locklear was born May 31, 1957, in Robeson County.
He was preceded in death by the late Anderson Locklear, Versillie Locklear and a brother Lawerence Locklear.
He is survived by two sons, Kinno Locklear (Alexis Wynn) of Pembroke and Christopher Locklear and his wife Jesseina of the home; his wife, Rosa Lee Locklear; a stepson, Billy Locklear of Fairmont; four grandchildren, Lexter R. Locklear, Lexie Ann Locklear, Janiah J. Locklear and Faith Locklear; two sisters, Blondell Locklear of Lumberton and Lucille Locklear of Pembroke; a brother, Altonso Locklear of Pembroke; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke.
