LUMBERTON — The bluegrass band The Travelin’ McCourys will perform on Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater in Lumberton.

The Tavelin’ McCourys is the latest incarnation of The Del McCoury Band.

The Travelin’ McCourys is made up of Ronnie and Rob McCoury, Jason Carter and Alan Bartam. Ronnie and Rob are the sons of the Bluegrass legend Del McCoury. Ronnie McCoury plays the mandolin, Rob McCoury plays the banjo, Carter plays the fiddle and Bartam plays the bass.

The band has collaborated with artists such as Vince Gill, The Allman Brothers, Phish, Dierks Bentley and others.

Tickets are $15, but are discounted to $10 each with the advance purchase of 10 or more.

Tickets can be purchased in person or by calling 910-738-4339 from 1 to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

The theater lobby box opens an hour prior to performance. The Carolina Civic Center is located at 315 N. Chestnut St.
