FAIRMONT — Pamela “Pam” Ransom, 50, of 131 Lot 40 Pinehurst Ave., passed away Feb. 19, 2013, at Woodhaven Nursing Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at McDonald Church of God, N.C. 130 in Fairmont, the Rev. Bowman Hunt and Sister Faye Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the McDonald Church Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 25, 1962, in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Ransom and Elease Hunt Callihan; a stepfather, George Thurston Callihan; and a brother, Kenny Ray Ransom.

She is survived by two sons, Shawn Ransom and wife Jerrica and Jonathan Brooks and wife Rhonda, all of Pembroke; two daughters, Shanna Oxendine and husband Johnny and Sheranda Brooks, all of Lumberton; a brother, Tony Callihan of Fayetteville; three sisters, Jane Graham and Sheila Ransom, both of Lumberton, and Cindy Jacobs of Rowland; three grandchildren, Shawn Ransom Jr., Jeremiah Strickland and Jaidyne Oxendine.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, and other times at the home of her daughter, Shanna Oxendine, 175 Native Road, Lot 2, in Lumberton.
