Syvetra Armstrong
PEMBROKE — Syvetra Lynn Lowry Armstrong, 46, of 1553 Prospect Road, was born Aug. 8, 1966, and departed this life on Feb. 23, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bear Swamp Baptist Church, the Rev. Dr. Timmie Chavis and Bro. Dennis Lowry officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Swamp Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Lowry, and a brother, Dwight Lowry.
Armstrong was an educator, teaching third grade at Pembroke Elementary School.
Armstrong is survived by her husband, Marshall “Marty” Armstrong; three sons, Tyler Ryan Armstrong, Cameron Chase Armstrong, and Andrew Brent Armstrong, all of the home; a daughter, Miss Lacey Marie Armstrong of the home; her mother, Berniece Lowry; four brothers, Terrill Lowry (Anita), Dennis Lowry (Florita), Brooks Lowry (Rhonda), and Ronald Lowry Brooks (Sherry); and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. today at Bear Swamp Baptist Church.
