Rose Chavis
ROWLAND — Rose Ann Chavis, 50, of Rowland, was born Jan. 1, 1963, and departed this life on March 4, 2013.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Youth for Christ Holiness Church in Maxton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cleveland Chavis, and a brother, Glenn Chavis.
She is survived by her mother, Roseller Bullard; her children, Mitchell Kelly Chavis and special friend Toria Hunt of Maxton, Kimberly Chavis and special friend Cory Bradley of the home, Kerri Strickland and special friend David Locklear of Pembroke, Keyana and Matthew Mallol of the home, Kelton Chavis and special friend Brittany Oxendine of the home, and Kalvis Chavis of Rowland; two sisters, Gloria Locklear of Maxton, and Chaffon Chavis of Orangeburg, S.C.; a brother, Lathan Bullard of Maxton; nine grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 today at Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke.
