To the Editor,
Sometime ago I wrote a letter to the editor saying, “Where is God?” Nothing has changed; everything is still the same.
For example, I recently attended a community meeting where some of the board members were conducting themselves in an ignorant manner as if they had no respect for the positions they hold. We have no respect for the house of God because we have no respect for God. God is holy and righteous and we must view him in that manner and remember that the church is called the House of Prayer. We have no respect for his house because of the way we act and dress when we are in his house. We are dependent on man to make our lives better. We are looking to man to provide us with jobs and money but we must remember our future is in God.
I believe if the preachers in this county would come together in fellowship and in prayer and seek God, this county would be in a lot better shape spiritually, morally and even financially. We have mothers being killed, babies are dying and the innocent are being robbed.
Where is God in all of this? Our county does not need a revival, it needs a great awakening to realize the power of an Almighty God. So I am asking you to think, ponder, and pray about these things. Let your preacher know how you feel and remember your church is the House of God.

Why would you put rich and crooks in the same catagory? I would believe that the poor are closer to being crooks than the rich who earned their keep. The poor steal and mooch off others much like a crook.
You have a good eaving my friend, we need much help around here...
