LUMBERTON — The Robeson’s Most Talented fourth annual talent show and competitions will be held at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke’s Givens Performing Arts Center at 6 p.m. on Friday.
This event will feature acts ranging from solo performers to school and church gospel groups in several age brackets.
The prizes for the top three acts are $1,000 for first place, $400 for second place and $300 for third place. The People’s Choice selection will receive $150. A panel of three judges will select the top three winners and the audience will select the final winner.
Tickets are $8 for all attendees over 4 years old. Tickets will be sold at the Givens Performing Arts Center the night of the show.
The proceeds from the event will be used to help the Lumbee Ambassadors travel to Gathering of the Nations in Albuquerque, N.M.
