Locklear-Bell
Brandy Locklear of Shannon and Travis Bell of St. Pauls announce their engagement.
Locklear is the daughter of Denver and Brenda Locklear of Shannon. She works at Southeastern Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse. She attended Red Springs High School and Bladen Community College.
Lockear is the granddaughter of Willie Locklear and the late Saddie Mae Locklear of Shannon; he late Benjamin and Dorthy Chavis of Lumberton; and Royce and Mary Locklear of Shannon.
Bell is the son of Travis and Eleanor Bell, and the grandson of the late Jasper and Edna Bell of Lumberton; the late Robert and Rosie Scott of Lumberton; and John and Alice Locklear of Rowland. He attended St. Pauls High School and works for Star Route Transport as postal truck driver.
The wedding will be held on Saturday at Liberty Holiness in Lumberton.
Freeman-Burns
Mickey and Jackie Freeman of Lumberton announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Freeman, of Lumberton, to Greyson Burns, the son of Andrew and Kaye Burns of St. Pauls.
Freeman is the granddaughter of the late Herbert Freeman and Letha Freeman of Fairmont, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allen of Lumberton. She attended Fairmont High School and East Carolina University. Freeman is a first-grade teacher at Peterson Elementary School.
Burns is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Burns of Rennert; and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taylor of St. Pauls. He is the great-grandson of Vera Powers of St. Pauls. He attended St. Pauls High School and works for J-Ham Farms and Grain.
The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. on April 27 at Hog Swamp Baptist Church
