Shirley Ann Tyner, 79, of Ocean Isle Beach, died Sept. 20, 2012, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Dr. Samuel Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
Tyner was born April 12, 1933, in Fayetteville. She was the daughter of the late Clinton and Mattie Bell Smith. Tyner was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she served as a deacon and Sunday school director.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Marshall E. Tyner Sr.; a son, Marshall E. Tyner Jr. and wife Jennifer of Fort Mill, S.C.; a daughter, Amy Gail Tyner and fiance Ty Moore of Shallotte; and a sister, Polly Newton of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
The visitation will be an hour before the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Calvary Baptist Church 623 Village Road.
Casket bearers will be the deacons of Calvary Baptist Church.

Billy Blue, of Maxton, died Sept. 18, 2012.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. B. Johnson officiating. The interment will follow in Wilson Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, Tony J. Galbreath, Arnold R. Galbreath and Donald R. Galbreath, all of Maxton; two sisters, Mary Blue of Virginia Beach, Va., and Annie Dale Blue of Maxton; and two brothers, James Blue and Tommy Blue, both of Maxton.
The visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel.

Judy Faye Oxendine, 57, of 47 Aaron Drive, died Sept. 18, 2012, at her home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Willie Scott and Anthony Chavis officiating.
She is survived by her mother, Pearl Jacobs of Pembroke; a daughter, April Lowery of Lumberton; six sisters, Deborah Jacobs and Donna Jacobs of Lumberton, Linda Jacobs of Pembroke, Shelia Oxendine of Maxton, and Robin Jacobs and Eloise Oxendine, both of Red Springs; two brothers, Lee Jacobs of Pembroke and Jamie Locklear of Charlotte; and three grandchildren, Louis Lowery of Lumberton, Jayla McPherson and Marlynn Jacobs, both of Pembroke.
The visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.

Fred Thomas Beck, 87, of St Pauls, died Sept. 20, 2012, at Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove Nursing.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Saint Pauls Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Eugene Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, LaRue Beck; a daughter, Teresa Smith; and five grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.

Sallie R. Haley, 81, of 1170 Benny Road, died Sept. 18, 2012, at Woodhaven Nursing Facility.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Lumberton. Burial will follow in Goodman Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Larry Haley of Lumberton; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home & Cremations.
