Trudy Oxendine Locklear, 46, of 332 Rogers Road, died Sept. 20, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Revels Funeral Home Chapel in Lumberton, the Revs. Lacy Sanderson and Randy Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnt Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

Trudy was born on Aug. 12, 1966, to Myrna Locklear Oxendine and the late Gearl Hilbert Oxendine.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, June Bug McNeill, and her maternal grandparents, John H. and Zadie Ray Locklear. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Willie Locklear; a son, Jason Oxendine; mother and stepfather, Myrna Locklear Oxendine and Bobby Chavis; two brothers, David Oxendine and the Rev. John Paul Oxendine; a sister, Rose Marie Cummings and husband Charles Cummings; a granddaughter, Titanna Oxendine and her mother Priscilla Musselwhite; and a host of relatives and friends.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home and other times at the home of Lonnie and Betty Oxendine, 44 Warren Drive, off Beam Road.
