Sara Lewis Britt, 80, of Fairmont, died Sept. 24, 2012, at Southeastern Hospice House.

The graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Bethesda Methodist Church Cemetery, the Rev. Bryan Perry officiating.

Britt was born Jan. 20, 1932, in Robeson County. She was predeceased by parents Glen (Dick) and Ida Lamb Leggett; her first husband, William Hal Lewis; and a brother, William Leggett.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Lacy Britt of the home; a son, Dan Lewis and wife Sheila of Orrum; two stepsons, Gary Britt and wife Janice of Little River, S.C. ,and Steve Britt of Fair Bluff; two daughters, Glenda Hall of Thomasville and Kay Lewis Walters and husband Gary of Orrum; four sisters, Lorena Johnson of Lumberton, Nellie Roulueau of Wilmington, Carol Freeman of Fairmont and Diane Brock of Morehead City; six grandchildren, Nicole Walters, Matthew Walters, Brien Lewis Bryant, Robert Sommersett, April Sommersett and Jamie Lee; and five great-grandchildren.

The visitation was held Tuesday at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
