Eugene “Mac” McLaughlin, 56, of 29580 Horseshoe Road, formerly of Red Springs, died Sept. 23, 2012, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Oease McLaughlin of the home; five stepchildren, Gwendolyn McNeill, Lillie McQueen, Ernest Bittle, Mary Leach and Ethel Cradle, all of Wagram; a sister, Leslie Purnell of Maxton; a brother, Daniel McLaughlin of Maxton; his father, Charlie McIntyre of Maxton.
The viewing 2 to 7 p.m. today at L.E. Floyd Funeral Home.
