James Earl “Buddy” Locklear, of 8071 Red Springs Road, died Oct. 7, 2012, at Southeastern Hospice House.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Elim Baptist Church, the Revs. Jimmy Bullard and Chris Webb officiating.
He is survived by three daughters, Lisa Locklear, Connie Locklear and Allison Locklear West, all of Red Springs; a son, Jay Dee Locklear of Red Springs; seven brothers, Bonford Locklear, Jerry Locklear, Brantley Locklear, Don Locklear, Raymond Rae Locklear, Billy Dean Locklear and Bob Locklear, all of Robeson County; a sister, Judy Williams of Robeson County; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchilden.
The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Boles Funeral Home Chapel.
