Kanikki Lance Johnson, 11, of 90 Big Horn Drive, was born June 7, 2001, to J.R. and Carrie Johnson. He departed this life on Dec. 12, 2012.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Deep Branch School, the Revs. David Hunt Jr. and Jeremy Brewington Officiating. Burial will follow in Oxendine Cemetery on Elarce Road in Pembroke.

Kanikki was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Celia Mae Norton; a maternal great-grandfather, Wiley Norton; his paternal great-grandfather, Willie James Locklear; a paternal great-grandmother, Sara Jane Locklear; and his uncle, Kendrick Johnson.

He is survived by his parents, J.R. and Carrie Johnson of the home; a brother T.J. Cummings of the home; a sister, Shelby Tharp of the home; paternal grandparents, Joseph Hunt of Pembroke and Margret Johnson of Pembroke; maternal grandparents, Flora and Dorman Locklear of Lumberton; a special aunt and uncle, Wendy and Gary Mauldin of Raeford; two special uncles, Casey Johnson of Alabama and David Hunt of Rowland; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Hunt of Lumberton; maternal great-grandmother, Evalyn Allen of Pembroke; and a host of special cousins, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke.

Sanford Frank Mandel, 83, of 1631 U.S. 74 West, was born June 20, 1929, and died Dec. 13, 2012, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanie Brewington-Mandel; a son, Bruce Mandel; and a brother, Lee Mandel.

He is survived by his son, David Mandel of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; and a host of relatives and friends.

Audrey Wiggins Tyner, 65, of Sumter, S.C., passed away Dec. 13, 2012, at her home.

The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Floyd Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

She was born on June 5, 1947, in Tulsa, Okla., to the late Ferris Wiggins and Sadie Hanthorne Wiggins. She was formerly employed as a car rental agent.

Tyner is survived by her husband, Kenneth Tyner Sr. of the home; two sons, Robert Honeycutt of Alabama, and Craig Honeycutt of Texas; a stepson, Bill Tyner of Florida; a daughter, Melissa Sanchez of South Carolina; a stepdaughter, Kathy Kruse of Pennsylvania; a brother, Fred Wiggins of Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday before the service at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc.

Billy “Mole” Locklear, 56, of 413 Miller Road, died Dec. 13, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in

Lumberton.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Dogwood Baptist Church, the Rev. Bobby Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born on Nov. 16, 1956, in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Winford and Bulah Brooks Locklear; and a brother, Jerry Locklear.

Locklear is survived by four brothers, Winford Locklear Jr., Robert Locklear and James Lee Locklear, all of Fairmont and Charles Eugene Locklear of Lumberton; three sisters, Mary Oxendine and Shirley M. Locklear, both of Fairmont and Catherine Hammonds of Pembroke; several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Thetus Grace Sides, 82, of Bladenboro, died Dec. 14, 2012, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Bladenboro, the Rev. Charles Brust officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery

She is survived by three sons, Billy Flowers of Brooksville, Fla., Douglas Flowers and Ted Flowers, both of Lumberton; four brothers, Rossie Cox Jr., Henry Cox and James Cox, all of Lumberton, and Grady Cox of Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Katie Sheperd of Lumberton and Alma Jewel Durden of Bladenboro; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Scott, Betty Hunt, all of Red Springs, Rachel Locklear and Barbara Henderson, both of Raeford, and Genise Henderson of Aberdeen; a brother, Donnie Henderson of Edenton; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Mason; two brothers, Maurice Mason and Timothy Mason; and three sisters, Deloise Faulk, Ann Mason and Bobbie Mason.
