Gaston Johnson, 67, of 1275 Nelson Ave., formerly of Shannon, died Dec. 16, 2012, in Bronx, N.Y.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Laurel Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Lumber Bridge. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Monique Johnson; a daughter, Yvette McDuffie Smithson of New York City.; two sons, Christopher Johnson of Goleta, Calif., and Maurice Johnson of Baltimore; four sisters, Anna M. Mack of Bronx, N.Y., Mary Monroe of New York City, Eunice Williams of Shannon and Shirley Harmon of Choctaw, Okla.; and five brothers, William Johnson of Shannon, N.C., Haywood Johnson of Queens., Samuel Johnson of the home, Virgil Johnson Jr. of Raeford, N.C., and Johnnie Alexander of Raleigh, N.C.
The visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at L.E. Floyd Funeral Home in Red Springs.
