Duane Hunter
ST. PAULS — Duane Hunter, 53, of St. Pauls, died Feb. 4, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, the Rev. David G. Anderson officiating.
He was born in Syracuse, N.Y., on May 17, 1959, to the late George Hunter and the late Natalie Haney Hunter.
He served in the United States Army for 20 years and 11 years in law enforcement with the Lumberton Police Department.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Hunter of the home; two sons, Richard and Timothy; his brothers, Dwight and wife Christina and Daryl of Syracuse, N.Y.; two nephews; and a grandchild, Serenity.
The visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St. in Lumberton.
