Genevieve Musselwhite

LUMBERTON — Genevieve Adams Musselwhite, 90, born Aug. 2, 1922, went to be with her heavenly Father on Feb. 16, 2013.

A memorial will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church, 5089 Old Whiteville Road, Pastor Mark Meadows will be officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roff and Marcella Tooze; her husband, Clyde Adams; two sons, Mitchell Adams and Paul Adams; two daughter-in-laws, Regina Adams and Cathy Adams; and two brothers, Roff and Wilbur Tooze.

She is survived by her children, Betty Rogers and husband Jr. from Lumberton, Clyde Adams Jr. of Lumberton, Terry Adams of Troy, and Barbara Sykes and husband Jimmie from Chesapeake, Va.; three sisters, Pearl, Mildred, and Edith; a brother, Bill; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive family and friends at the home of her daughter, Betty Rogers.
