FRED BRITT JR.
LUMBERTON — Fred C. Britt Jr., 80, of 2067 Broadridge Road, died March 3, 2013, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home Chapel in Lumberton, the Revs. Tom Britt and George Connor officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
Britt was a retired farmer. He was born in Robeson County on Aug. 25, 1932, and was a son of the late Fred and Estelle Britt of Lumberton.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Stephanie Fralix; three brothers, James Britt, Cecil Britt and Harold Britt; and two sisters, O’Neal Caulder and Georgia Gore.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Cox Britt; children, Linda Britt of Hampstead, Jerry Britt of Lumberton, Elizabeth Fralix and husband Junior Fralix of Mullins, S.C.; a grandson, Jason Fralix; two brothers, Juluis Britt of Lumberton, and Thomas Britt of Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Sherry Stanley of Bladenboro, Peggy Parker and Betty Parker, both of Lumberton; and several nieces and nephews.
