Beryl Page
RAEFORD — Beryl Riddle Page, 82, of 520 Camden Road, went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2013, after a long battle with Cortical Basal Ganglionic Degeneration.
A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Friday at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home in St. Pauls, the Rev. Shuford White officiating.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1930, in St. Pauls. Beryl was the daughter of the late Thomas Evander Riddle and Mattie Rebecca Holder. Beryl and her husband owned and managed Page Finance Company, Page Furniture Company, Page Pawn Shop and rental property. Beryl was a former member of First Christian Church of Fayetteville. She volunteered for many years at the Cape Fear Valley Cancer Center, and she served as a hospice volunteer for Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Willard Franklin Page; her daughters, Sherry Dell Page of Pinehurst and Pamela Page Arnett and her husband, Dr. Robert Michael Arnett of Spartanburg, S.C.; a son, Willard Franklin Page Jr. and his wife Melissa Anne Page of Pinehurst; a granddaughter, Sherry Bethany Page of Wilmington; two grandsons, Willard Franklin Page III of Southern Pines, and Michael Bryan Arnett of Beaufort, S.C.; two stepgrandsons, Samuel David Finnegan and Nicklaus Mitchell Finnegan of Pinehurst; her sisters, Lottie Dell Shaw of Hope Mills and Sarah Neill Justice of Parkton; a number of nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Beryl was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mozelle Riddle Morrison and her husband Adelbert Morrison; a brother, Thomas Lincoln Riddle; and two brothers-in-law, Duncan Graham Shaw and Charles Justice.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
