Judy Ivey

ORRUM — Judy Carolyn Lawson Ivey, 70, of Orrum, passed away March 20, 2013, at her residence.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, the Rev. Harley Townsend officiating. Burial will follow in Ward Cemetery in Orrum.

She was born in Robeson County on June 27, 1942, to the late Bracey Lawson and the late Mavis Walton Lawson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Timmy Ivey.

Ivey is survived by her husband, Bobby Ivey of the home; two sons, David Ray Ivey (Susan) of Mullins, S.C., and Rodney Cleveland Ivey of Orrum; four brothers, Jimmy Lawson of Orrum, Jerry Lawson, Lindsay Lawson and Tony Lawson, all of Lumberton; four sisters, Gloria Huggins of Lumberton, Beth Brown of Germanton, Sue Callihan and Glenda Hinson, both of Lumberton; and four grandchildren, Jodi Cain, Bridget Cain, David Ivey Jr. and Austin Brown.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St., Lumberton.
