FAIRMONT — Sarah Elizabeth “Beth” Mitchell Leggett, 53, of 3486 White Pond Road, Fairmont, passed away March 21, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Fairmont First Baptist Church, the Rev. Tim Tyner officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Troy “E.T.” Mitchell and Sarah Alice Elvington Mitchell; a son, Robert Mitchell “Mitch” Lamb.

She was born March 9, 1960, in Dillon County, S.C. She was a 1978 graduate of Fairmont High School and was employed by BB&T Bank of Fairmont.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Leggett; a son, Matthew Lamb of Greenville; two brothers, Elbert Troy Mitchell Jr. and wife Candy, both of Charlotte; Chris Mitchell and wife Kim, both of Fairmont; a sister, Linda Leggett and husband Jeff of Fairmont; her brother-in-laws, Jake Leggett and wife Carolyn and Donald Leggett and wife Joyce; a sister-in-law, Allison Martin and husband Steve; two nieces, Kasey and Morgan Leggett; and a nephew, Nicholas Mitchell.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
