FAIRMONT — The town of Fairmont and MegaForce Staffing job fair will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon in the Fairmont town hall courtroom.

Representatives of MegaForce Staffing will take applications from job seekers and answer any questions regarding possible job opportunities. The event was scheduled for last week but had to be postponed.

LUMBERTON — The NC Indian Economic Development will hold an 8(a) Certification and Awareness Workshop at the Workforce Development Building on Nov. 28 at 5160 Fayetteville Road in the BB&T room from 4 to 7 p.m.

The class will be taught by business development specialists from the U.S. Small Business Administration, and includes insight on the program as well as lending opportunities.

LUMBERTON — U.S. Cellular will begin offering its postpaid service in two Robeson County Walmart locations at 5070 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton and 930 N.C. 711 E. in Pembroke.
