Doris Oxendine, 67, of Fairmont, passed away Dec. 28, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Anna Free Will Baptist Church in Pembroke. Burial will follow in the Graham family cemetery in Pembroke.
She was born in Robeson County on Dec. 4, 1945. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Oxendine was preceded in death by her father, Paul L. Oxendine; a brother, Paul L. Oxendine Jr.; and a sister, Peggy Hernandez.
She is survived by her mother, Macie Jacobs Oxendine, of the home; her daughter, Jenny Oxendine Locklear and husband Gregory of Lumberton; her son, William Andrew Kinlaw and special friend Melanie Bray of Asheboro; three sisters, Virginia Oxendine Caulder of the home, Lynn Brooks and husband Armanuel of Maxton, and Sarah Frances Locklear of Albemarle; four brothers, James Boyd Oxendine of the home, Johnsie “Red” Oxendine and wife Gladys of Fairmont, Marshall Oxendine of Prospect, and Dennis Wayne Oxendine of Tishomingo, Okla; seven grandchildren, Gregory Locklear, Savannah Chavis, Hailey Kinlaw, Tristan Kinlaw, Destiny Davis, Bryson Kinlaw and Caylee Kinlaw.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
