Grice – Goostree

Robyn Danielle Grice and Scott Allen Goostree were united in marriage at 7 p.m. on June 20, 2014, at Dunes West Golf and River Club in Mount Pleasant, S.C. Pastor Greg Mason officiated the wedding and music was provided by Bill West.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Ann Grice of Lumberton. She attended Lumberton High School, the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and Duke University. She works as a family nurse practitioner at Bladen Medical Associates in Elizabethtown.

The groom is the son of Judy and Lee Goostree of Mount Juliet, Tenn. He attended Nashville Academy and served 12 years with the Army before leaving as a staff sergeant in February.

The matron of honor was Brittenee Fox. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Johnson, Emily Carter, Caroline Carter and Jenna Mellin. Flower girls were Hannah Nash and Parris Goostree.

The best man was Lee Goostree. Ushers were Kevin Carter, John Robert Carter and David Victory.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Costa Rica.

Cox – Willoughby

Marrisa Dare Cox and Travis Edward Willoughby were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. on May 31, 2014, at the bride’s home in Proctorville. The Rev. Gary Strickland officiated the wedding and music was provided by the Otterbach four-string quartet, of Fayettevile, and Robert Williams, of Lumberton.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cox III, of Proctorville, and the granddaughter of the late Ruth Tyson-Inman and Nellie Rouleau, of Wilmington. She attended Avalon Academy, The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and East Carolina University. She was given in marriage by her father.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Willbughby, of Lumberton, and the grandson of Mr. Von Willoughby, Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Rice, and the late Mattie Mae Rice.

The maid of honor was Elisabeth Tyson Cox. Bridesmaids were Bobbi Jo Oxendine, Lindy Smith, Clintnette Willoughby, Cortney Guyton and Adrienne Creedmore.

The best man was Clinton Willoughby. Groomsmen were Randy Pulley, Jordan Cox, Jonathan Aquirre and Jason Groner.

The flower girl was Kendal Groner and the ring bearer was Nolan Groner.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Charleston, S.C.
