Strickland — Hardin

Jessica Sierra Strickland and Bryan Alan Hardin, both of Lumberton, were united in marriage on Saturday at the Rock Church of God. The Rev. Gary Deese officiated the wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Eugene Strickland of Pembroke and Serena Sampson of Lumberton. She attended Lumberton High School and Robeson Community College. She is a registered respiratory therapist at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon S.C.

The groom is the son of Timothy and Barbara Hardin. He attended Lumberton High School, St. Andrews University and Robeson Community College. He works for CSX in Hamlet.

The maid of honor was Teela Strickland and the matron of honor was Renee Perry. The bridesmaids were Kathleen Hall, Shannon Locklear, Kayla Strickand, Francine Strickland and Keosha Hunt. The flower girl was Kailey Sampson.

The best man was Timothy Hardin. The groomsmen were James Locklear, Cory Lowery, Tony Bethea, Jason Hardin, Jorge Reyes and Jerry Sampson. The ring bearer was Braeden Locklear.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Lee and Hollie Oxendine and Joseph Hernandez. The music at the reception will be provided by Otara Mills and Troy Richardson.

The ushers were Logan Strong and David Hinds.

A reception was held at Candy Sue’s in Lumberton.

The couple will enjoy a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The couple will reside in Lumberton.

Jacobs — Oxendine

Tynwanda Jacobs and Winford Oxendine Jr., both of Pembroke, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. on July 5 at their home. The Rev. Eugene Jones officiated the wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Shawanda Jacobs of Pembroke.

The groom is the son Winford Sr. and France Oxendine of Pembroke.

The maid of honor was Ella Locklear and the matron of honor was Melissa Locklear. The flower girl was Khloe Jacobs.

The best man was Eric Locklear and the groomsman was Samuel Locklear. The ring bearer was Brandigan Brewer.

The reception was hosted by Ashley Ivey and Brittany Oxendine. A family dinner was hosted by Jerry Jacobs and Nicole Deese at Ruby Tuesday Restaurant.

Craven —Craven

Cheyanne Lee Craven and Cody Deon Craven were united in marriage on July 13 at 4 p.m. at the home of the bride. The Rev. Clarence Sanderson officiated the wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Troy Barton of Red Springs and Tonyua Guyton Barton of Maxton. She graduated from Red Springs High School and attends Bladen Community College.

The groom is the son of the Rev. Earl and Darlene Craven of Maxton. He is a graduate of Purnell Swett High School.

The matron of honor was Ariana Brewer Cruz and the bridesmaid was Brandy Guyton. The flower girl was Sequoia Dial.

The best man was Dakota Craven and the Bible bearer was Litefoot Locklear.

The usher was Austin Craven.

A reception was held at the home of the bride.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon to Charleston, S.C.

They reside in Maxton.
