LUMBERTON — Linda Metzger, of Century 21 at 4850 Fayetteville Road, reported on Thursday that two air-conditioning units of unknown value were taken from a home the company is selling belonging to Steve Morris of Rockingham, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Willie Maynor, of Furman Drive, reported on Thursday that someone entered his unlocked Chevrolet Impala sedan and took $835 in audio and video equipment, according to a police report.

Maynor reported $400 damage to the body and dash board of the vehicle.

n Break-ins

Carey’s Upholstery, at 906 W. Fifth St., reported on Thursday that someone broke into the business and took four rims and tires valued at $6,000, speakers valued at $2,000 and three batteries valued at $200, according to a police report.

The business reported $2,100 in damage.

McDuffie Crossing Road in Lumberton; and Braxton Chavis, at 1064 N.C. 71 in Maxton.
